ATJ Universe™ ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of families and children who use our Site and Services. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to visitors of atjuniverse.com and users of our digital products. Accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, authentication identifiers (including Google sign-in if used).
- Gameplay data: episode progress, puzzle attempts, scores, timestamps.
- Payment data: we receive a payment reference, amount, status and method from Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers or CVV.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, basic analytics needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Communications: messages you send to atjuniv@gmail.com.
3. How we use information
- To provide and improve the books, games and learning content.
- To process the ₹100 lifetime unlock and grant entitlements.
- To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, lawful requests).
We do not sell personal information. We do not show third-party behavioural advertising to children.
4. Legal bases
Where required by law, we rely on: performance of contract (delivering the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), legal obligations (tax/records), and consent (where specifically asked, e.g. optional emails).
5. Sharing
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Hosting & database provider — secure storage of accounts and gameplay data.
- Google — only if you choose Google sign-in.
- Authorities — when required by valid legal process.
6. Children's privacy
A parent/guardian who creates the account is the data subject for billing. Gameplay activity is treated as personal information of the child user under that account. Parents may request access, correction or deletion at any time by emailing atjuniv@gmail.com.
7. Retention
We retain account and gameplay data for as long as the account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Payment records are retained for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically up to 8 years). On account deletion, we remove or anonymise data that we are not legally required to keep.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may request access, correction, deletion, or withdraw consent. Write to atjuniv@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
11. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country with appropriate safeguards. By using the Service you understand that data may be processed in such locations.

We will post material changes on this page and update the effective date.
